Having fun while studying

Hi guys, this will be a really short post, but with lots of images, so please don't get sick of looking at my face. Hahahha! So yesterday Eileen and I met up at Ngee Ann Poly to study for our upcoming exams. Going back to Ngee Ann really brings back a lot of memories. I really miss all the awesome time that I had with my friends during my Poly days. Okay back to the point, we had lunch at Munch and went to the library for our revision. The library was freezing cold! I suggest everyone who is intending to head to NP library to bring a thick jacket, and wear long pants. It is really too cold there. Lol. We studied a little, talked a little, and spammed loads of pictures. But at least we got some work done!
So here are the pictures that we took!

Ayam Panggang for lunch! This is so yummy!
With our lunch!

We left the foodcourt promptly after our food and headed to the library to print the slip to our room.
View from our room
Books and more books
Hard at work.
That's my study buddy Eileen!
Attempted to take some artistic shots, but apparently I'm not a very good photographer. :( Btw, I'm loving my new aztec iPhone cover! Too pretty!

We studied for a little while more and began our series of camwhore shots!
Good thing I wore this knit top, if not I would have freezed to death.
That's all the pictures that I have on my camera, but being camwhores, we have more on Eileen's phone! Heeheee!
Okay, I think I should stop here, it's getting too image heavy. Hahhaha!

So I shall end off with this one last picture
Lots of love to all my readers! <3

P.s. Credit to Eileen for some of the pictures!

Love,

Sakae Sushi, and my friends

My beloved friends: Bin Xiang, Faiz, Sin Teck and Ruey Chyi
Oh, I still have another awesome friend in PBF class who is Jia Ying, but she didn't come today. :( So I guess we can only have another picture with her on our next outing!

Hello people! How was your Tuesday? 3 more days to the weekends! Hang in there everyone! Alright, basically, it's my last Principles of Banking and Finance class today, and only 30 students out of about 200 went for the lesson. The whole lecture theater was practically scattered with people here and there. Hah, quite a unique scene. Okay, anyway, I took some pictures with my PBF friends whom I usually sit with, and have lunch with on Tuesdays. Really nice people. The pictures that are taken in class are using my iphone, that explains the not so good quality. Bear with me please!

Some photos while we were on the way for our break

Snapped this shot in the washroom, while waiting for Ruey Chyi

Okay, so our lessons ended at 11.30 and Ruey Chyi and I headed down to Sakae Sushi at Boon Lay for the lunch buffet. Apparently, not all Sakae outlets offer lunch buffet, only certain outlets do, and the one at Boon Lay CC does. It's actually pretty convenient as it's just located behind Jurong Point. Just a minor negative point is that it's round the  back of the CC so don't enter from the first entrance if you're walking. Walk outside the CC and you'll see Sakae Sushi.

YAY! We're still entitled to the Youth price

RC with her fav egg mayo sushi and me with my softshell crab maki

Salmon Sashimi, thickly cut and fresh

Chawamushi

Edamame

Cha Soba

A must order for RC whenever she visits Sakae

Sushi my love!

My new hair cuff that I collected from Jas today! I'm loving it! Will do a separate post on the different hairstyles that you can play with with this hair cuff. So stay tuned!

Feels like we're in Genting? Hah, it's because my camera lens has water droplets on it. Hah.

This is better

The very nice Manager offered to help us with another picture

RC with her purple brolly cause it started to drizzle when we were about to leave

One more picture of the hair cuff. I love it to bits! More on the hair cuff in the next post!

Review on Sakae Sushi

Oh well, I guess Sakae Sushi needs no more introduction. Almost every singaporean knows about Sakae Sushi as it's practically in every neighbourhood. So I'll give a review on this branch located at Boon Lay. Firstly, as I said above, the location is relatively good, just that you must take about 5 mins to locate this place. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated, and not overly packed. So if you would like to have a quiet meal alone, or with a few of your girlfriends, this location would be a good choice. (If you're living in the West)

Food wise, everything was fresh, especially the salmon sashimi. It's really thick, so they are considered generous with their portions. The varieties are also the same with other Sakae sushi, and they do have some new sushi items that will be on the conveyor belt, so do look out for them.

Next, service, the staff there are relatively attentive and efficient. I requested for more water, and the staff acknowledged me almost immediately. The manager was exceptionally nice and pretty friendly as well. Most importantly, he's willing to help customers to take pictures! Hee.

Alright, so my overall ratings for this branch will be:
Ambience: 3/5
Service: 4/5
Food: 4/5
Price: 3.5/5

The Frontier Community Club
Boon Lay MRT Station
60 Jurong West Central 3
#01-05 Singapore 648346
Tel: 6792 2806
Opening Hours:

Do give Sakae Sushi a try if you haven't! I'm sure there'll be a branch near your place!

******

We went back to school after lunch for our POA lesson. Guess what, I started camwhoring with Casan, my POA classmate. Pictures are taken with my iphone, bad quality. Boohoo.

With the pretty babe

Alright, this shall be all for this pretty lengthy post. Hope you're not bored, but entertained by this post! :)

Have a great day tomorrow!

Love,
