Saveur with the babes

Hi guys, I'm back with a short post on the trip to Saveur with my babes!
Saveur is well known for it's quality yet affordable French cuisine. I've visited Saveur a couple of times, and it always left me wanting for more after every visit. Now that they have an outlet at Far East Plaza, it makes it so much easier to locate the place as compared to the other outlet at Purvis Street.
So here are some of the pictures that we snapped!

Best friends for life!

What we ordered: 4 sets of Saveur Pasta and 4 sets of duck confit
In my opinion, these are the must order dishes. I loved how the duck confit was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato complemented the duck so well! Absolutely delish. The pasta was awesome too! Please do order these 2 dishes whenever you visit Saveur.

ANDDDDD
I shall end off with a picture of Junie and Jasmine posing with the yummylicious duck confit.

We didn't manage to snap lots of photos, but it was still an awesome meetup with these precious babes.

That's all I have for now.

Have a great weekend!

Love,
Su Shan

Manna Story with the babes

Hi guys! Happy weekends! I'm so glad that I met up with my babes yesterday for a short dinner gathering at Manna Story (Jcube). The food was awesome, mainly also because of the awesome company I had. Which made the whole meal so enjoyable! We sort of over ordered, but still finished up everything nonetheless. This goes to show how good the food is!
So here are the pictures that we took yesterday!

Love this girls! <3

So after a round of picture spamming, we went to Manna Story for our dinner!
Cute decorations right outside the restaurant
Awesome view of the ice skating ring from the restaurant
Spammed more pictures before food was served! and LOL at my face. Hahahha.

Okay, and then it was time for food!
We ordered a set for 2 pax, a chicken bulgoggi, and a portion of korean rice cakes with cheese.
First up, banchan!
A variety of korean side dishes. Yums!
Pumpkin soup which tasted like pumpkin puree to me.
Chapchae (Stir fried vegetables with vermicelli)
I don't know the name of this dish, but it tasted a little like satay chicken in our opinion.
Chicken bulgogi. This dish was part of the set that we ordered.
Miso Soup with loads of ingredients in it
An assortment of pancakes and fried cucumber
Chicken Bulgoggi. Apparently we didn't know that there was already this dish in the set for 2 pax, and ordered it again. But it's really yummy, so we finished it all! Haha!
Saba Fish
Korean rice cakes in spicy sauce topped with cheese
Complimentary pancake when you spend above $40. This was the bomb! It's so yummy! The sides of the pancakes were really crispy, but the pancake was still so moist and good. especially when you dip into the sauce that comes with the pancake. It is simply heavenly! Slurps!

Snapped 3 more pictures with our table of food before we digged in. This is too satisfying! Noms!

So I've basically come to a conclusion that when you visit Manna Story, you must definitely order the Pancake, rice cakes in spicy sauce, zhapchae and the Chicken bulgoggi. Please do take note that the portions are really quite big, so don't over order! :)

Yup, that's all I have to share for this post. Will be back with more korean food places in the next post. Have been too much of a Korean food fan these days! Heeee!

Have a great weekend!

Little nephew's 1st Birthday

Hi guys! I'm back with a short update on my little nephew's birthday dinner last night. We had buffet dinner at Furama Hotel. Honestly, the buffet wasn't exactly awesome, but the company made the whole dinner a lot more enjoyable. I had the chance to talk to my cousins whom i don't see really often, as well as all my cute little nieces and nephews. I swear they are all so adorable and I love them to bits!  <3
Here are some pictures that I snapped!

Where we had our dinner

With the Birthday Boy. He is so so so cute! <3

After spamming a series of photos with the birthday boy, I started my food spree.
Started off with sashimi and some sushi. Who can resist sashimi right? Hahha.
Tried some potato salad, and it proved to be a waste of calories. Boohoo.
I loved this rosti and sausages. Yums!
Grilled beef which was a tad too hard in my opinion
Some other cooked food that they have. I absolutely loved the roasted potatoes, they were so soft and yummy. Love it! the fish was pretty well done too.
Assorted desserts that I shared with my parents
This was good! Durian paste. Totally love anything that has durian. Noms!

Yup, so this basically sums up what I ate last night. The varieties that they offer were kinda disappointing. There wasn't much selection of cooked food, but I guess the rosti and roasted potatoes made up for it. #easilycontented. Hahaha.

After we were done with our dinner, we had the cake cutting ceremony. It's so cute to see the baby boy hold that knife and attempt to cut the super cute and nice cake.
The star of the night with his cute Winnie the Pooh cake. So so nice!
Here's a close up of the cake. So adorable right?

We sang the birthday song, cut the cake, and ate the cake. We had time to sit down and catch up a little more before we left, and of course, I took the chance to snap more pictures with my niece and cousin.
She's the birthday boy's sister. So cute too right? Omg. My favourite niece of all! <3
Love my cousin, she's like an older sister to me, always so nice and protective of me.

Lastly, how can I miss the chance of camwhoring with a cute Winnie the Pooh balloon? Heh!
Too cute! Hehe, I used to like Winnie the Pooh, cause it's so cute and hug-able! :)

That's all that i have for this post. I really love such gatherings with my family. It's nothing short of fun and lots of love! <3

Alright, I'll be back with more posts, but meanwhile have a great monday guys!

Love,
Su Shan
